• Red Tower (Kızıl Kule) - Alanya's 13th-century harbour landmark and unofficial symbol of the city, an easy add-on to a castle trip.
• Damlataş Cave - a stalactite cave right by Cleopatra Beach, known for its unusually humid air.
• Cleopatra Beach - Alanya's most famous sandy beach beneath the castle walls, livelier and more central than İncekum's own stretch.
• Dim Cave and Dim River - a large stalactite cave east of Alanya, paired with a river valley lined with wooden restaurants over ice-cold spring water; about 35-40 minutes by taxi and a firm favourite for a half-day out.
• Alanya Harbour and Marina - where the boat tours depart, and a pleasant place for an evening walk.

İncekum is roughly 110 kilometres from Antalya Airport (AYT), with the route running along the D-400 past Manavgat and Side. Depending on traffic and season, the drive typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours - longer in the height of summer, quicker outside peak months.
