Antalya Private Yacht Dinner Cruise

A private boat for the evening. Your own table on deck, a crew that works for that table alone, and a menu that was settled days before you see the water. That is the product. There is no buffet line, no shared saloon, no entertainer with a microphone — those belong to the party boats that leave the old harbor by day, and this is not that.

We arrange these charters out of Antalya and we will be straight with you about what works and what does not, because a dinner on the water lives or dies on decisions made before departure, not after.

What the city looks like from the water

Antalya keeps its best side facing the sea. Kaleiçi's Roman-era harbor sits in a notch below the old city walls, and once the lights come on, the whole cliff line above it glows — you will not get that view from any restaurant terrace on land. The Hıdırlık tower stands right on the cliff edge and is floodlit at night. Off to the west runs Konyaaltı's long pebble strip with the Beydağları range stacked up behind it, and at sunset the mountains go from grey to rust to black in the space of your first course.

One thing you can only see from a boat: the Lower Düden waterfall, which drops off the cliff straight into the sea. From land you get a fenced park and the top of the drop. From the water you get the whole face of it. Skippers usually hold position off the falls for photographs before turning the bow back toward the glow of the old town.

Charters running from Kemer work the other direction — out of the marina under Tahtalı, along pine coves toward Phaselis, where the water is quieter and the shoreline is forest rather than city. Different product, same idea. Tell us where you are staying and we will point the evening the right way.

Settle the menu before you board — this is not optional

A yacht galley is small. Everything worth eating is prepped ashore in the afternoon: the cold mezes, the salads, the fish or meat for the grill, the dessert. Once the lines are off, nobody is running to a market. So the menu is agreed in advance, in writing, to your preference — seafood-led, meat-led, vegetarian, child-friendly plates alongside the main menu, whatever the table needs. Allergies and dietary rules go into the same message and reach the galley before a single tomato is bought. Tell us everything, even the small stuff. A dinner on the water is a bad place to discover a shellfish problem.

Drinks, and the alcohol question

Alcohol is an optional package, not a default. Some tables want a proper wine service with dinner, some want rakı with the mezes and nothing else, some want the boat fully dry — all three are normal requests and all three are priced into the quote accordingly. Soft drinks and water are part of the same conversation. Decide before the day, the same as the food. Bringing your own bottles is a question for the individual boat, so raise it when you ask for the quote rather than at the gangway.

Timing, heat, and the wind that shows up most afternoons

Sunset slots go first. Every season, without exception, the evening departures fill while people are still thinking about it, so if the date matters — an anniversary, a proposal — lock it in early.

In July and August the middle of the day is genuinely punishing on deck, which is one more argument for dinner rather than lunch. Be aware of the afternoon breeze as well: on many summer days a wind builds from midday and can put chop on the harbor mouth right around boarding time. It nearly always lies down after sundown, and the run back along the lit-up walls is usually the calmest water of the whole evening. May, June, September and October are the sweet months — warm decks, softer light, fewer boats around you.

Boarding, and getting to the boat

Most evenings start from Setur Antalya Marina on the west side of the city, where boarding is a flat pontoon and a hand from the crew — easy in any shoes. Departures from the old harbor in Kaleiçi are prettier but involve cobbles and a ramp, worth knowing if anyone in the group walks with difficulty. Kemer marina is the answer for guests staying along that coast. We are a transfer company before anything else, so the car to the marina and the car back to the hotel can go into the same booking — one WhatsApp thread covers the whole evening.

What to bring

  • A light jacket or shawl — the deck cools off after dark, even in August
  • Flat shoes for boarding; heels can go back on once you are on deck
  • Swimwear and a towel if you want a swim stop before dinner — confirm towels with us when booking
  • A charged phone; the walls at dusk will empty your battery
  • Anything for a surprise — ring, cake, flowers — flagged to us in advance so the crew stages it properly

Proposals, birthdays, quiet anniversaries

The crew has done this many times and knows how to stay invisible until the moment. A cake can be brought aboard or arranged through us, flowers likewise, and if there is a ring involved, the skipper will make sure the boat is pointed at the right backdrop when it happens. Put the plan in the booking thread. Surprises work on boats only when the crew is in on them.

Getting a price

Every charter is quoted individually — date, number of guests, menu direction, drinks package or none, departure marina. Send those over on WhatsApp through the Get a Quote button and you will get a straight answer with no obligation attached. If your date sits anywhere near a weekend in high season, ask early. The sunset slots do not sit around.

Frequently Asked Questions

The skipper makes the final call, and safety wins every time. If conditions rule out a comfortable evening, we move the charter to another date or cancel the booking — the options are confirmed in writing when you book. Most summer evenings are fine; the risk periods are early spring and late autumn.
