Antalya Yacht Party Charter

People call us for three things. Birthdays. Proposals. And the kind of group night no restaurant in town can hold without shushing you. A private boat handles all three, because the music is yours, the deck is yours, and there is no table next to you.

Two main departure points. The old harbor at Kaleici sits in a Roman-era basin directly below the old city walls, with the Hidirlik tower on the cliff above the western entrance — it is the more atmospheric start, and the photos coming out of that harbor mouth do half your event announcement for you. Setur Antalya Marina, on the west side of the city, is the practical choice for larger parties: easier parking, level pontoon boarding, room for the caterer's van to pull up close. If your group is staying down the coast in Kemer, start from the marina there instead — it sits under Tahtali, and the pine coves toward Phaselis are a short run away, which means more swimming and less transit.

The route most parties take

Out of Kaleici, the standard run goes east along the cliffs first. The reason is the Lower Duden waterfall, which drops straight off the rock into the sea. You cannot see it properly from land; from the water you get the whole face of it, and it is the one stop where everyone's phone comes out at the same time. From there the boat turns back west past the harbor and Hidirlik, along the front of Konyaalti — a long pebble strip with the Beydaglari range stacked up behind it — and the skipper picks a swimming stop depending on the wind that day. Nothing on this run is fixed. If your group wants more swimming and less cruising, say so when you book, not on the day.

From Kemer the logic is different: less city, more coastline. The coves toward Phaselis have pine down to the waterline and the water there stays calm on most summer days. Better for a swim-heavy bachelorette than the city run.

Music, drinks, cake, decoration

The sound system onboard takes your playlist, so build one before the day — handing it to the most organized person in the group works better than passing a phone around. Alcohol is an optional package, not a default: if you want the bar stocked, say it when you ask for the quote, and it will be bought and chilled before departure. Turning up with a group expecting drinks that were never ordered is the single most common party-charter mistake we see.

Decoration is arranged on request — balloons, a banner, a set table at the bow for a proposal. Tell us the occasion honestly. A proposal gets planned differently from a birthday: quieter corner of the deck, timing pinned to the sunset light, crew briefed to be invisible at the right moment.

Agree the menu in advance. Provisions are bought the morning of the charter, and a guest who turns out to be vegetarian, or fasting, or allergic to shellfish is easy to handle with two days' notice and impossible to handle at sea.

Timing, and the honest caveats

July and August middays are hot on deck. Shade exists, but it is not a hotel terrace, and if your group includes older relatives or small kids, take a morning or a late-afternoon slot. The light is at its best in the last stretch before sunset — the Kaleici walls go amber, the Beydaglari behind Konyaalti turn violet — which is exactly why sunset slots are the first to go in high season. Book those early or take what is left.

One more thing brokers rarely volunteer: the afternoon sea breeze can put chop on the harbor mouth. It is normal, it passes once you clear the headland, and the swimming coves stay comfortable. But anyone in the group who knows they get seasick should take the tablet before boarding. Not after. After does not work.

What to bring

  • Swimwear worn under your clothes — changing space gets tight with a full group
  • Towels, unless confirmed as provided when you book
  • Sunscreen and a hat; the water doubles the sun
  • A light layer for after sunset, even in August — it cools fast out there
  • Flat shoes or bare feet; heels and a teak deck are a bad pair
  • The cake, if you are bringing your own — tell us in advance so there is fridge space waiting

Birthdays, proposals, corporate — the differences

A birthday or bachelorette runs loud: longer swim stops, music up, decoration on. A proposal runs quiet, and the planning is mostly about timing the light and keeping the secret. Corporate events need an invoice, usually catering rather than a barbecue, and a route that keeps everyone comfortable rather than maximally scenic. All three are things we set up regularly; none of them needs anything from you except an honest description of what the day is for.

Getting a price

Every party is quoted individually, because the boat, the date, the group size and the drinks package all move the number. Tap Get a Quote and send the date, roughly how many people, the occasion, and drinks yes or no. You will get options back on WhatsApp, usually the same day, and nothing is booked until you confirm.

Frequently Asked Questions

The skipper makes the final call, usually the evening before or on the morning itself. If the sea state makes the trip unsafe or unpleasant, we move the party to another date or to a sheltered route, and if neither fits your plans the booking is cancelled without penalty. Rain alone rarely stops a charter; wind is the deciding factor.
