Kemerağzı to Antalya Airport is roughly 55-60 km, and the road takes you through Beldibi and Göynük, into the Tünektepe tunnels, along the Konyaaltı coast road, and on to the airport via the D400. In normal traffic that's 60-75 minutes. In the July-August peak season, or if we hit the usual city-centre bottleneck, it can stretch closer to 90 minutes — so we build that buffer into your pickup time from the start rather than risk you running for the gate. It's also, honestly, one of the best drives on this coast: pine-covered mountain slopes on one side, the Mediterranean on the other, and a proper view over Antalya Bay as you come out of the tunnels.

If you've got a morning to spare before your flight, Kemerağzı is worth lingering in rather than rushing through. It sits right beside Kemer Marina, a short walk from Moonlight Beach, with the Tahtalı Dağı cable car (Olympos Teleferik) nearby for one last look at the coastline from above. South of town, the ancient harbour coves at Phaselis are still one of the best swims on this stretch, and Göynük Canyon draws hikers and rafters right through the season. On the airport side of the drive, we also regularly collect guests staying at resorts around Lara and Kundu, including Swandor Topkapı Palace — so if your holiday started there and Kemerağzı was a day trip, we know that road just as well as this one.

• In peak season we build in a 15-20 minute buffer; we'd still suggest checking in at least 2-2.5 hours before your flight
