Kemerağzı is a coastal locality in the Manavgat district of Antalya province, sitting on the D400 coast road between the resort town of Side and Manavgat's town centre. On one side you've got a long stretch of Mediterranean beach; on the other, pine woods and citrus groves spreading across a flat coastal plain. The name itself comes from the old Roman-era aqueduct (kemer means "arch" in Turkish) whose ruins still stand in the fields around Manavgat, marking the point where the aqueduct met (ağzı, "the mouth of") the coastal plain on its way to Side. Today Kemerağzı is known for its big, family-friendly resort hotels and wide, quiet beaches rather than nightlife or old-town charm — it's a genuine holiday base, not a passing-through town. Ten minutes or so by taxi from Kemerağzı is Side's ancient city — narrow lanes leading down to the Temple of Apollo's iconic seafront columns, one of the most photographed sunset spots on this coast, plus a well-preserved Roman theatre worth an evening visit. History here isn't confined to Side, either: the aqueduct remains scattered across the Manavgat plain are a reminder of just how long this stretch of coast has been settled. Most of our guests staying in Kemerağzı end up combining Side and central Manavgat in the same day, since the two are so close together and a single taxi loop covers both comfortably.

• Green Canyon / Oymapınar reservoir — around 45 minutes, reached by scenic boat trips
• Titreyengöl — close to Side, a small, calm lagoon that's a pleasant quiet break
• Land of Legends (Kundu/Belek) — noticeably further out, roughly 55-70 minutes, since it sits closer to Antalya itself; most people treat it as a full day-trip transfer
• Antalya's old town, Kaleiçi — around 60-65 minutes, for the historic harbour, city walls and museums

Antalya Airport (AYT) to Kemerağzı is around 65 kilometres, which usually takes 60-65 minutes in normal traffic, heading out along the motorway toward Manavgat. We give you the honest figure because Kemerağzı isn't a quick hop from the airport — it sits well east of Antalya city, out along the Side–Manavgat coast. Whatever time your flight lands, including the middle of the night, our driver tracks your flight number and waits at arrivals; delays don't cost extra. Because Kemerağzı is mostly large all-inclusive resorts, there isn't the density of independent restaurants and shops you'd find in central Side — most guests either stay on-site or take a short taxi into Manavgat or Side for an evening out. Local dolmuş (minibus) services exist but run infrequently and aren't always clear for visitors, so a taxi is usually the simplest option for day trips. Summer (June to September) is hot and busy; spring and autumn are more comfortable for both the beach and sightseeing.
