Explore the charming Kaleiçi old town, visit Düden and Kurşunlu waterfalls, see Hadrian's Gate, the Clock Tower, and enjoy panoramic views from the old harbor marina. Professional English-speaking guide. Your driver collects you from the hotel, so there is no parking to worry about in the narrow lanes of the old town. Expect a fair amount of walking on uneven stone, a little spray at the falls and several natural photo stops, which makes it a good first day for anyone new to the city. Mornings are cooler and the harbour quieter; late afternoon gives warmer light over the cliffs.

Visit three of Turkey's most impressive ancient sites in one day. Walk through Perge's colonnaded streets, see Aspendos Theatre (one of the best-preserved Roman theaters in the world), and explore Side's Temple of Apollo. Hotel pick-up and return in an air-conditioned vehicle are included, so the long stretches between the three sites stay comfortable. Set aside plenty of walking time on uneven marble and stone, and bring a hat, sunscreen and water — shade is scarce around midday. Spring and autumn suit this route best, and an early start keeps you ahead of the coach groups.

The ground truth
73 Konyaaltı hotels sit in our pickup index, so your driver gets the entrance, not the district.
Konyaaltı is the western half of Antalya's coastline, the district that starts almost where the old town ends and runs for kilometres along the Mediterranean with the Beydağları (the coastal spur of the Taurus Mountains) rising steeply behind it. If Kaleiçi is Antalya's postcard old town, Konyaaltı is where the city actually lives and unwinds - wide boulevards, a long promenade, and neighbourhoods like Liman, Hurma, Arapsuyu and Uncalı that mix long-term residents, expats and holiday apartments. We've been driving guests in and out of this part of town for years, and what strikes most first-time visitors is the view: a pebble beach on one side, snow-capped peaks on the other, often in the same photo.
Konyaaltı Beach runs for roughly 13 kilometres, one of the longest Blue Flag pebble beaches in Turkey, with the Beydağları forming a genuinely dramatic backdrop rather than a distant smudge on the horizon. Beach Park, the strip running along the shore, is where the café and restaurant life happens, busy well into the evening in summer. A little further inland, Atatürk Culture Park is Konyaaltı's green lung - lawns, a small lake, playgrounds, and the base station for the Tünektepe cable car, which lifts you up in a few minutes to panoramic views over the whole Gulf of Antalya. We often suggest it to guests looking for sunset without a long drive.
Konyaaltı's real advantage is how close everything worth seeing actually is. The Antalya Archaeological Museum, one of Turkey's most important collections, sits right by the beach - a 10 to 15 minute taxi from most Konyaaltı hotels. Antalya Aquarium, home to one of the world's longest tunnel tanks, is a similarly short ride and a reliable half-day out with kids. Kaleiçi old town, with Hadrian's Gate, the Yivli Minaret and the old harbour marina, is 15-20 minutes away by taxi, and we take guests there for dinner more evenings than not. For a longer day trip:
All are reachable by taxi from Konyaaltı if you want to go further afield.
Crowne Plaza Antalya is one of the hotels we transfer to most often in Konyaaltı, sitting close to the beach and Atatürk Culture Park with easy access for both business and leisure travellers. Beyond that, we cover the whole run of beachfront hotels along Beach Park and the smaller, family-run guesthouses tucked into the Liman and Hurma neighbourhoods. Wherever your hotel sits in Konyaaltı, send us the name and we'll be at the door.
Antalya Airport (AYT) to Konyaaltı is about 22 kilometres, usually 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Our driver waits inside the terminal with a name board, helps with your bags, and drives you straight to your hotel door - no shuttle changes, no waiting around for other passengers. The price is fixed at a fixed fare confirmed at booking and agreed before you land; we track your flight, so a delayed landing never means an extra charge.
Beyond the airport run, we're around for the rest of your stay too - fixed-price taxis to the Aquarium, the museum, dinner in Kaleiçi, sunset at Tünektepe, or a day trip out to Aspendos or Perge. We're a small family business, and most guests end up with the same driver for their whole stay, which tends to mean better local tips along the way, not just a ride.
Konyaaltı Beach is pebble, not sand, so water shoes help; the water is clear and drops off a bit faster than on Lara's sandy side. There are free showers and shaded spots the length of the promenade. We also run late-night airport pickups around the clock, so a midnight or early-morning landing is never a problem.
