Antalya Airport to Kiriş private transfer

Kiriş is one of those small coastal settlements along the Antalya–Kemer road where the pine-forested foothills of the Taurus Mountains drop almost straight into the Mediterranean. It sits a few kilometres north of Kemer's marina, inside the wider Beydağları Coastal National Park, and it has a different rhythm from its busier neighbour: fewer souvenir shops, more shaded gardens, and a pebble shoreline backed by family-run pansiyons and resort hotels rather than a long promenade of bars. If Kemer centre is where you go out in the evening, Kiriş is where you come home to sleep with the windows open and the cicadas going. We're a small, family-run Antalya transfer company, and we've been driving this stretch of coast for years — Kiriş isn't a name on a map to us, it's a daily route.

The village itself is modest — a handful of streets climbing gently off the coast road, citrus trees in the gardens, and a sea that stays clean and mostly calm because the mountains cut the wind. What makes Kiriş genuinely interesting, though, is what's right behind it: Tahtalı Dağı (Mount Olympos), a 2,365-metre limestone peak that rises almost directly from the coastline. The base station of the Olympos Teleferik cable car is in Kiriş itself, and in under ten minutes it carries you from sea level to a summit platform with a 360-degree view over the Gulf of Antalya, the Bey Mountains, and on a clear day much further beyond. It's one of the steepest cable car rides anywhere in the world, and we regularly drop guests right at the ticket office before they've even unpacked their bags at the hotel.

Kiriş doesn't have one long sweep of sand — it's a narrow band of pebbles and fine shingle, broken up by hotel gardens and pine trees reaching almost to the water. The sea tends to deepen quickly just offshore, which suits snorkellers as much as it suits people who just want to float. Compared with the busier beach clubs in Kemer centre, a late-afternoon walk along the Kiriş shore usually means hearing little more than wind in the pines and the water itself. Most hotels here run their own private beach section, and a few arrange boat trips or a water taxi straight from their own jetty.

• Göynük Canyon, a few minutes north, is where locals and visitors go for canyoning, a cool-water walk through the gorge, or just lunch by the stream — a short taxi ride from any Kiriş hotel.
• Kemer Marina, about 10–15 minutes south, has the yacht harbour, the evening bazaar, boat tours to the Lycian coves, and most of the district's restaurants and nightlife.
• Phaselis, the Lycian-era port city with three ancient harbours set among pine trees and a sandy bay, is roughly 20–25 minutes further south — one of the best half-day trips on this coast.
• Olympos and Çıralı, with ancient ruins tumbling down to the beach and the eternal flames of the Chimaera, sit about 40 minutes south for a longer excursion.
• Kaleiçi, Antalya's historic old town, with its harbour, Hadrian's Gate, and bazaar streets, is roughly an hour north along the coastal road.

We know this stretch of coast well because we drive it every day. Antalya Airport (AYT) is the only realistic gateway for Kiriş — there's no train line, and the public bus route involves at least one change in Antalya city centre plus a long wait. The drive is about 66 km and, depending on traffic through the city and the mountain road south, takes somewhere between 60 and 80 minutes. We run it as a fixed-price, door-to-door private transfer: a fixed fare confirmed at booking one way, no meter running, and no surprise add-ons for luggage or for the extra ten minutes if traffic turns out to be bad.
