Cruise between Europe and Asia, see Ottoman palaces, fortresses, and the magnificent Istanbul skyline. Pick-up from your Istanbul hotel and the return transfer are arranged for you, so there's no need to find the pier alone. Late-afternoon sailings catch the best light on the waterfront mansions and the strait's two bridges, while mornings are calmer for photos. Bring a windproof layer — the open deck stays breezy even in summer — and keep your camera charged for the palace facades.

The day starts before dawn with a transfer from your Antalya hotel to the airport and ends with a late-night drop-off, so keep the following morning light. The ground truth
21 Beyoğlu hotels sit in our pickup index, so your driver gets the entrance, not the district.
Beyoğlu sits on the European side of Istanbul, just north of the Golden Horn, and it's arguably the city's most layered district. Known historically as Pera, it was for centuries the cosmopolitan quarter of foreign embassies, Levantine merchant families and European traders, and that past is still visible in the art-nouveau apartment facades, narrow stone lanes, and the mix of churches, hans and covered passages tucked between them. Beyoğlu isn't one street — it's a patchwork of neighbourhoods with very different personalities strung along the spine of İstiklal: Galata, Karaköy, Cihangir, Çukurcuma and Tophane. By day it's antique shop windows and contemporary art galleries; by evening, meyhane tables and rooftop bars; the music rarely stops. This is the part of Istanbul that never quite settles down, and that's exactly its appeal.
The district's spine is İstiklal Avenue, a roughly 1.4-kilometre pedestrian street where a nostalgic red tram still trundles past bookshops, arcades and boutiques. Under the cast-iron roof of Çiçek Pasajı (the Flower Passage) meyhane tables spill out, and next door the Fish Market fills the air with the smell of fresh mussels and kokoreç. Cezayir Street, hung with colourful flags, is a magnet for photographers, while the Tünel funicular — the second-oldest underground railway in the world — still runs at the avenue's western end. At the Taksim end sits the square and the Republic Monument; at the Tünel end, the historic Pera Palace Hotel, famous for once hosting Agatha Christie after her journey on the Orient Express. When we drop guests at their hotel, we always suggest walking İstiklal end to end — it's only a few minutes away by taxi from almost anywhere in Beyoğlu, and just as easy on foot.
The medieval Galata Tower dominates the point where the Golden Horn meets the Bosphorus, and it's one of Istanbul's most recognisable landmarks — five to ten minutes by taxi from almost anywhere in Beyoğlu. The lanes below the tower lead down to Karaköy, once a district of harbour warehouses and now home to Istanbul Modern's striking new waterfront building, dozens of contemporary art galleries and third-wave coffee shops. A little further up the hill is Cihangir, one of the city's most-loved bohemian pockets, with sea-view cafés, resident cats and an easy, unhurried street life. The Pera Museum and SALT Galata are both within walking distance too, enough to fill an afternoon between them. All of these are close to each other and to the hotels we serve in Beyoğlu — ask us when planning your route and we'll tell you the most sensible order to see them in.
We've been bringing guests to hotels across Beyoğlu for years, and we know each one's location, drop-off point and even reception hours. We regularly transfer guests to Canopy by Hilton Istanbul Taksim and Corner Suites Taksim, both within walking distance of Taksim Square, to the modern DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul - Piyalepasa, to Sheraton Istanbul City Center near the heart of town, and to the boutique Fide just behind İstiklal. Element Pera Residence is also on our regular route — a practical choice for longer stays or family groups who want more space. Whichever hotel you're staying at, the moment you land our driver meets you with your name and takes you straight to the door, so you don't have to navigate city traffic or hunt for the right side street late at night.
Istanbul Airport (IST) is roughly 32 kilometres from Beyoğlu, and depending on the time of day and traffic, the drive usually takes between 45 and 75 minutes — shorter late at night, a little longer during the day's busy hours. At Antalya Transfer we run our Beyoğlu transfers the same honest way we run everything else: we track your flight number, we wait even if it's delayed, we meet you at the terminal holding your name, and we carry your bags. The price is fixed from the moment you book — a fixed fare confirmed at booking — no meter, no surprise charges. Whether you're travelling solo or with a full family group, we plan the vehicle accordingly.
Plenty of flights land at Istanbul Airport well after midnight, and we're used to working those hours. If your flight is delayed our driver simply waits — we don't charge extra for it. If you need a child or booster seat, just let us know in advance and we'll have it fitted. Payment can be made in cash or by card on arrival. Because some of Beyoğlu's streets are narrow and one-way, a few hotels are reached by a short walk rather than a direct pull-up; our driver will show you the nearest safe drop-off point and won't mind carrying your bags the rest of the way to the door.
