Cruise between Europe and Asia, see Ottoman palaces, fortresses, and the magnificent Istanbul skyline. Pick-up from your Istanbul hotel and the return transfer are arranged for you, so there's no need to find the pier alone. Late-afternoon sailings catch the best light on the waterfront mansions and the strait's two bridges, while mornings are calmer for photos. Bring a windproof layer — the open deck stays breezy even in summer — and keep your camera charged for the palace facades.

Fly to Istanbul for a packed day: Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, and Bosphorus cruise. Domestic flights, all entrances, lunch, and expert guide included. The day starts before dawn with a transfer from your Antalya hotel to the airport and ends with a late-night drop-off, so keep the following morning light. Bring photo ID for the domestic flight, comfortable walking shoes, and a scarf plus shoulder cover for the mosque visits. The pace is demanding and suits adults and older children who are happy to keep moving between sights.

The ground truth
9 Bostancı hotels sit in our pickup index, so your driver gets the entrance, not the district.
Bostancı is one of the seaside neighbourhoods of Kadıköy, on Istanbul's Asian side, facing the Sea of Marmara. It's a district with two faces: a working ferry pier that opens straight onto the sea, and a stretch of the famous Bağdat Avenue that ties it back into the rhythm of the city. Commuters rushing for the morning boat, families walking the coastal promenade at sunset, people nursing a coffee while waiting for the next sailing — Bostancı is a lived-in neighbourhood as much as it is a genuine starting point for exploring Istanbul. Together with neighbouring Suadiye and Caddebostan, it forms a long, easy-going shoreline where locals cycle, swim and stroll most evenings of the year. We pick most of our guests up either at Sabiha Gökçen or Istanbul Airport and drive them straight to their hotel in Bostancı, and because we work this route constantly, we're honest about how the traffic actually behaves at different times of day rather than just quoting a number.
The section of Bağdat Avenue running through Bostancı is worth knowing about on its own. Around its junction with Zeytinoğlu Avenue, restaurants, pastry shops and small boutiques line up one after another, and it's as popular with locals as it is with first-time visitors. It's an easy walk from most hotels, though after a shopping trip with bags in hand, calling a taxi back is the more comfortable option.
The single biggest advantage of staying in Bostancı is its own ferry pier, which connects directly to the Princes' Islands (Büyükada, Heybeliada) by fast ferry — it's a five-minute taxi ride from most hotels to the pier, and the crossing itself takes care of the rest. Head west for ten to fifteen minutes by taxi and you're in Kadıköy, with its Moda seafront, fish market and main square, plus ferries onward to Karaköy and Beşiktaş across the Bosphorus. A twenty to twenty-five minute ride inland brings you up to Büyük Çamlıca Hill, the highest point on the Asian side, with a panoramic view over both shores of the city. Kalamış Marina is about ten minutes away for anyone interested in a boat trip. Football fans can reach Kadıköy's Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, home of Fenerbahçe, in roughly the same ten to fifteen minutes. South along the coast, the Maltepe seafront and park is another favourite for an evening walk. We talk our guests through all of these routes in advance, and can arrange a short stop along the way if it suits your transfer. Many of our guests base themselves in Bostancı and simply take a taxi into Kadıköy in the evening for dinner, then head back the same way.
Among the hotels where we drop guests off most often are Dedeman Bostancı Hotel & Convention Center, the neighbouring Park Dedeman Bostancı, the seafront-adjacent The Bostancı Hotel and The Hera Bostancı Otel, along with ByOtell, Green Park Bostancı and Rhiss Hotel. A little further south, in Küçükyalı, we also run regular transfers to Elite World Grand Küçükyalı. We know each hotel's entrance, reception hours and drop-off arrangement, so getting from the airport to your room is straightforward. For the hotels with their own convention centres, we're also used to coordinating several vehicles around the same flight or the same event start time for larger groups, so nobody is left waiting at arrivals.
Sabiha Gökçen Airport is Bostancı's real gateway — the distance is roughly 20 kilometres, and the drive to your hotel door usually takes 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you land, our driver meets you at the terminal holding a sign with your name, takes your luggage, and drives you straight to your hotel. There are no surprises on price: we work on a fixed fare confirmed at booking, and nothing extra gets added once you're on the road. For guests arriving through Istanbul Airport instead, we run the same service; the only real difference is that the crossing over the Bosphorus stretches the drive out to somewhere between an hour and a half and two hours under normal conditions, which we mention plainly before you book. Your driver's name and phone number are sent to you ahead of landing, so you can call directly as you clear the terminal rather than searching a crowded arrivals hall for someone you've never met.
If your flight lands close to midnight or in the early hours, there's no need to worry — our driver tracks your flight and waits through any delay. Bostancı's streets stay well lit and safe at night, but being driven straight to your hotel door after a long journey still makes a real difference. If you need a child seat or a larger vehicle for extra luggage, just mention it when you book.
We're a family-run company based in Antalya, and we don't advertise a fleet of luxury cars — we just do what we say we will. Running transfers to Bostancı every week means we know the area by heart, down to which street each hotel's entrance faces and which hours Bağdat Avenue gets busy. You can also follow your booking and message your driver directly over WhatsApp.
